1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy ("Policy") governs the collection, use, disclosure, and protection of information obtained by JustaChat.com ("Site", "we", "us", or "our"), a service operated by C3 Media Marketing, LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("Company"). By accessing or using JustaChat.com, you ("User") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Policy. If you do not agree, you must immediately discontinue use of the Site.
This Policy applies to all visitors, users, and others who access the Site, regardless of whether they register an account or participate as a guest. The Company may update this Policy from time to time. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
2. Are Minors Welcome?
Certain areas of JustaChat.com are restricted to users aged 18 and over. General community rooms are accessible to users aged 13 and older, consistent with the requirements of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Users under the age of 13 are strictly prohibited from accessing any area of the Site. Users between the ages of 13 and 17 may not access any room or area designated as 18+ or adult in nature.
The Company does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information without verifiable parental consent, we will delete that information immediately. Parents or guardians who believe their child under 13 has accessed the Site or provided personal information should contact us at [email protected].
3. Information We Collect
3.1 Information You Provide Voluntarily
JustaChat.com is designed to allow anonymous participation and does not require account registration to access the chat rooms. If you voluntarily register an account or provide information — including a username, email address, or date of birth — that information will be stored and associated with your account. We may also collect records of correspondence if you contact us directly.
3.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you access the Site, we may automatically collect the following technical data:
- IP address and general geographic location (country/region level)
- Browser type, version, and operating system
- Device type and unique device identifiers where applicable
- Referring URLs and pages visited on the Site
- Date, time, and duration of your visit
- Mobile network information where applicable
This information is collected for security, fraud prevention, DNSBL/VPN detection, and aggregate analytics purposes. It is not used to personally identify individual users except where required by law or necessary to enforce our Terms of Use.
3.3 Chat Content
JustaChat.com does not persistently log or store the content of public or private chat messages beyond what is technically necessary to deliver the chat service in real time. We reserve the right to retain chat logs on a temporary basis for moderation, investigation of reported conduct, and compliance with legal obligations.
3.4 Cookies and Similar Technologies
We may use session cookies, local storage, web beacons, and similar technologies to maintain your chat session, remember your theme and preference settings, and improve Site functionality. These are not used for cross-site advertising tracking. A cookie is a small file placed on your device's hard drive. You may disable cookies through your browser settings; however, doing so may impair certain Site functionality. Web beacons (also known as clear gifs or pixel tags) may be used to count page visits and monitor site activity for internal analytics purposes only.
3.5 Third-Party Technologies
Some content or features on the Site may be served by third-party providers, including analytics and security services. These third parties may use cookies or other tracking technologies to collect information in accordance with their own privacy policies. The Company does not control third-party tracking technologies and is not responsible for their use. If you have questions about third-party advertising or content, please contact that provider directly.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect solely for the following purposes:
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Site and its features
- To authenticate users and maintain session continuity
- To detect and prevent abuse, spam, bot activity, and unauthorized access
- To enforce our Terms of Use and Community Rules
- To respond to user support inquiries and correspondence
- To comply with applicable legal obligations
- To generate aggregate, anonymized analytics data for internal use
- To notify you of changes to the Site or your account where applicable
We do not sell, rent, lease, or otherwise commercially exploit your personal information to any third party for marketing or advertising purposes.
5. Disclosure of Information
JustaChat.com does not share your personal information with third parties except in the following limited circumstances:
- Legal Compliance: We will disclose information when required by valid legal process, including subpoenas, court orders, or enforceable governmental requests, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to prevent imminent harm, fraud, or illegal activity.
- NCMEC Reporting: In accordance with 18 U.S.C. § 2258A, we are required to report apparent violations involving child sexual abuse material (CSAM) to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). Such reports may include user IP addresses, usernames, and relevant session data.
- DMCA Notices: If you submit a copyright infringement notice under the DMCA, we may forward that notice, including any personal information contained therein, to the user or entity whose content is the subject of the notice.
- Service Providers: We may share limited technical data with trusted third-party service providers (including hosting, security, and analytics providers) who assist in operating the Site. Such providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for any purpose beyond providing services to us.
- Business Transfer: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, user data may be transferred as part of that transaction. You will be notified via a prominent notice on the Site prior to any such transfer.
- Protection of Rights: We may disclose information where we believe it is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, its users, or others.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy, or as required by applicable law. Technical session data collected for security purposes is retained for a limited operational period, after which it is deleted or anonymized. Registered account data is retained for the duration of the account's existence and for a reasonable period thereafter. Under some circumstances we may anonymize personal data so that it can no longer be associated with you; anonymized data may be retained and used for any legitimate business purpose without further notice.
Users may request deletion of their account and associated data by contacting us at [email protected]. Note that the Company may be unable to delete information where retention is required by law or where doing so would cause the information to be incorrect.
7. Where Is Your Information Stored?
This Policy is intended to cover collection of information from residents of the United States. If you are accessing the Site from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where the Company's servers are located. Data protection laws in the United States may differ from those in your country. By using the Site, you acknowledge and consent to the transfer and processing of your data in the United States or any other country in which the Company or its service providers operate.
8. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we collect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include network-level protections, DNSBL and VPN detection systems, and restricted access controls on our infrastructure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you use the Site at your own risk. The safety of your information also depends on you — you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account password.
9. Do Not Track Policy
Do Not Track ("DNT") is a privacy preference that can be set in your browser to signal that you do not wish to be tracked across websites. At this time, JustaChat.com does not respond to DNT signals, as the internet industry has not yet established a uniform standard for recognizing and implementing DNT requests. We will revisit this position as industry standards develop. For more information about DNT, visit www.allaboutdnt.com.
10. Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit. This Policy does not apply to information collected by third parties through any application or content that may link to or be accessible from the Site.

- The right to access, correct, or update personal information we hold about you
- The right to request deletion of your personal information and account
- The right to withdraw consent to processing where consent was the legal basis
- The right to opt out of any promotional communications
We will respond to all verified requests within a reasonable timeframe in accordance with applicable law. Please note that withdrawing consent or requesting deletion may limit your ability to use certain features of the Site.
12. California Privacy Rights
Residents of California may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California's "Shine the Light" law (Civil Code Section 1798.83), including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. 13. Nevada Privacy Rights
Nevada residents who wish to exercise their sale opt-out rights under Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A may submit a request to [email protected]. Please be advised that JustaChat.com does not currently sell personal data in a manner that triggers the opt-out requirements of that statute.
14. Canadian Privacy Rights
The Company is committed to compliance with applicable Canadian federal and provincial privacy laws, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). We will only use personal information provided by Canadian residents for the purposes described in this Policy. Canadian residents are advised that personal information provided to the Company is stored on servers located in the United States and may be subject to disclosure to authorized law enforcement or government agencies under the laws of that country.
