The Teen Chat page in particular received a dedicated section for parents, something we felt was long overdue. Alongside the content rewrites, we also cleaned up how search engines see the site. Meta descriptions, page titles, and sitemap generation were all updated. The sitemap now automatically pulls room listings directly from the database, so any time a new room is added, it's reflected immediately without any manual work. Small fix, big quality-of-life improvement for keeping the site accurate and up to date.
Faster Load Times and Cleaner Infrastructure
Speed matters, and we've been making changes to ensure JustaChat loads quickly even with advertising scripts running in the background. Previously, third-party ad scripts were loading at the same time as the page itself, which was creating unnecessary delays. We implemented a deferred loading approach that holds those scripts back until after the page has fully rendered, so what you see first is the chat — not a bunch of background requests fighting for priority.
On the server side, we resolved a routing conflict that was affecting how the chat client loaded across different domains in our network. The fix ensures the Vue-based chat interface serves correctly regardless of which domain a user is coming from, without requiring individual server configurations for each one. It's the kind of behind-the-scenes work that users should never have to think about, which is exactly the point.
We also launched advertising campaigns on both Google and Bing to help new users discover JustaChat while our organic search presence continues to grow. A Smarter, Cleaner Chat Environment

Login authentication was reviewed and confirmed working correctly after a server migration, ensuring registered users can sign in smoothly without interruption. We also improved how the IRC layer handles user identity, so that information about who's in a room flows more cleanly between the web client and the underlying chat system. We also significantly upgraded our anti-spam system. The previous version was catching some things it shouldn't have, which meant legitimate links — like animated GIFs from Giphy — were occasionally getting flagged. The updated system is much smarter. It focuses on patterns that are genuinely spammy: unsolicited sales pitches, payment solicitation, and known malicious link formats. It leaves everyday conversation alone.
