character help

i'm trying to write a story based on some kids and a couple of adults but i'm having trouble coming up with the right characters. but they have powers and every time they use them something bad happens. so if you could suggest any ideas i would be grateful.this is the one i have so far:

Name: Gwen
Age:15
personality: haven't thought about it yet.
power: fire?
bad thing:umm having difficult

you can use the names over again because i'm randomly going to chose the ones i think are best. don't forget i need ideas for adults as well as kids thanks for the help in advance.

i wasn't sure weather or not you are allowed to post twice without any one posting in between.

i've come up with some names but i still wouldn't mind suggestions i need three girls and three boys but i can't decide can you help me?

also i need help on deciding what personality best suits which power?and what gender girl or boy?

Not sure about what goes with which name
But personality for powers:
Fire: Impulsive, Short Tempered
Water: Calm, sweet
Air: Random personality, you can't say one thing about them because they're different every day.
Electric: Fun, easygoing, also very impulsive
Earth: Very nature-loving, immature
Psychic: Mature, wise.

Mind you thing is just a suggestion.

Vida: Water

Appearance: Vida is pale and somewhat weak. Her hair is very light brown, almost white with a tinge of blue and runs straight down to her waist. Her face is long and narrow with almost bloodless lips. Her blue-green-gray eyes are large and liquid-looking. She has a long narrow nose. Her skin is smooth and white with a blue tinge to it. She wears mostly long, drooping dresses in pale, cold colours.

Personality: She is very conserved and calm. She enjoys cool places away from the sun. Etc
