I posted this on an older thread, so sorry for any redundancy, but it's important to me. I follow the work of the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America and am currently quite disappointed in our fine citizens. A few weeks ago the IAVA requested 111,000 pledges of support for raise awareness of the hardships facing returning soldiers, and they fell way short of their goal. Embarrassingly short, to put it bluntly. If you've got the time [about half a minute] and the money [$0], please pledge your support (http://www.peer2.com/programs/detail/14). I, as well as several thousand returning service men and women, would appreciate it.
