District 9

I thought District 9 was the best movie of this summer so far. Great concept and a great way to make the audience believe the story. It feels like there was so much meaning and symbolism to the real world that I still can't fully comprehend.

Have you seen it? What did you think? Can you explain the symbolism of the movie?

It's out in the states but I am waiting for it to come out on DVD. Good to hear it's a great movie, I can't wait to see it.

I saw this movie this weekend too! I really liked it, and agree it was one of the better movies of the summer, though for me Star Trek was the best.

In my opinion District 9 is one of the best science fiction movies in a long time. That being said, I think it is important to have contrarian reviews, because not all movie-goers have the same values, and there may be many people who enjoy different types of films or things about them who might find White’s opinions better reflect their tastes and help them to choose the best entertainment for them.
