Skins is a BAFTA nominated British teen drama from Company Pictures which premièred on E4 on 25 January 2007.

Skins revolves around the lives of a group of 16–19 year-old friends who live in Bristol.

Each episode has a self-contained theme and focuses on each different character , however there are several story arcs that span different episodes. Accompanying the episode title at the beginning of each episode is a short few second montage of that episode's central character.

The second season hasn't aired in Australia yet, I have the dvd coming in the mail though. Despite that, the first season was easily one of the best shows I have ever watched. Skins dispells the myth of the shoddy teen drama; its actors are actually teenagers, it deals with relevant issues, is well written and actually funny.

i loved skins before they got the younger crowd in...before it was focused around effy. plus they left the storylines for the early characters totally underdeveloped. i wanted to know what happened to all of them.

love it..when is the new season
